Privacy
In an effort to protect our clients' and site visitors privacy and rights, CastHost has established a Privacy Policy which explains what information we gather on visitors and what we do with information that we gather. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which CastHost collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users of this Web site (each, a "User").
Users' privacy is very important to CastHost. We are committed to safeguarding the information Users entrust to CastHost.
CastHost collects personally identifiable information from Users through online forms for ordering products and services. We may also collect information about how Users use our Web site, for example, by tracking the number of unique views received by the pages of the Web site or the domains from which Users originate. We use "cookies" to track how Users use our Web site.
CastHost may use personally identifiable information collected through our Web site to contact Users regarding products and services offered by CastHost and its trusted affiliates, independent contractors and business partners, and otherwise to enhance Users' experience with CastHost and such affiliates, independent contractors and business partners. At no time will CastHost's database of users ever be sold to any entity for the purpose of marketing or mailing lists. Personal information will not be sold or otherwise transferred to our business partners without your prior consent, except that we will disclose the information we collect to third parties when, in our good faith judgment, we are obligated to do so under applicable laws
When you connect a social account, CastHost receives the access credentials and account information needed for the features you use. For Facebook and Instagram, this can include your Page list, Page access tokens, linked professional accounts, names, profile images and follower counts. With your permission, we publish and schedule posts, read and reply to comments, and retrieve post insights. Comments may include other people’s names and content. A reconnect or sync can retrieve up to 730 days of available post history, including posts created outside CastHost. We also store your scheduled posts and uploaded media. Threads search features can retrieve public posts and profiles when you use them. We do not use these credentials for advertising or sell this data. Availability depends on your account access and the permissions you grant.
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, or a copy of it, by contacting [email protected]. To disconnect a social platform, use the dashboard confirmation. No separate email approval is needed. See our Data Deletion Instructions for the available options.
We keep account data while it is needed to provide your service. Disconnecting a social platform removes its stored connection credentials and database caches for your account. You can also choose to delete its pending posts in the same confirmation. Pending posts you keep pause while disconnected; posts more than 24 hours overdue require rescheduling. File caches, uploaded media and historical copies can remain while cleanup or retention processes finish. A deletion status page shows when a Meta-initiated request still needs cleanup or account matching. Billing, security and other records may be retained where required by law or needed to investigate abuse. Disconnecting does not delete posts already published on the social platform.
CastHost integrates with Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), Bluesky, and Mastodon to power our Social Media Suite. When you connect these platforms, their respective privacy policies govern how they handle data on their end. We use WHMCS to manage billing; payment and billing data are handled under WHMCS’s privacy practices. We do not sell data to advertisers and do not share your information with third parties beyond what is required to operate the integrations you choose to enable.
The dashboard uses HTTPS and password-protected sessions. Current social connection credentials use encrypted database fields, but this does not mean every historical copy in operational records or backups is encrypted or has already been deleted. Access to those records is restricted, and their cleanup is handled separately. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
